mathmatics shapes

Monday 13th September 
New shapes. 2D shapes are flat shapes. It has 2 dimensions which are length and height.


2D shapes are circle diamond triangle rectangle square oval these are the 2D shapes.


A square has four equal sides and is flat which means it is a 2D shape.


Edge means the side of a 2D shape.


So a rectangle has has four edges 


A triangle has three edges and three sides.


we are learning about 3D shapes.


3D shapes solid shape. It has three dimensions which are length, width and depth.


The differences between the 2D and the 3D shape is that 3d has width and 2d has none.

  1. Well done Kono. It is good to know that you have learnt so much about 2D and 3D shapes. I suggest that you create a DLO with graphics of all these 2D and 3D shapes so that your audience can also know what each of these shapes look like. Keep up with your good work.
