Boy on the bike

Title: Boy on the bike

Author: Bronwen wall

My book is about Mac and h

is dad. They were traveling from Cape Reinga down to Wellington.

They were traveling on the beach,

then Mac and his dad were going through the woods, then they made

it out of the woods and stopped at a sign.

A year earlier Mac came back from saint john cdet training

with a plan, Mac wanted to raise some money so

saint john could

afford to buy more ambulances, but how would you raise this money

Mac's parents said they wanted to know how I’ll ride my bike he said.

He wanted people to know that he wanted to help saint john,

and they will also

want to help too. Mac waved a book in front

of his parents. It was a guide of cycling trips around New zealand.

At the back

of the book I found the ultimate trip, cycling the length of the country.

But Mac was only 9 when they were going on the trip together. Mac and

his parents worked out a compromise, Mac would cycle the length

of the North land.

Mac and his dad always train every weekend some days some days they

both cycle 80 km’s other days their rides are shorter sometime in

the holidays they cycle seville days.

Mac and his dad were traveling at first there first site they traveled to

was the desert they were biking

threw, they stopped at a cabin because they wanted a rest then hang

there close and also set up there camp they also had some

things to eat which are bananas, apples, baizle nuts, salted peanuts,

muesli bar,

ham roll, yoghurt, biscuit, orange juice and also tea.

Twenty two days after he first put foot onto pedals Mac cycled into

Wellington with all kinds of emotions.

Mac's bike had really big tyres. He could ride on rocks, hills, and also

mountains. Mac’s money raised over 7,000$ which made Mac really happy.
