My book is about these two sisters and their names were May and Ida. Ida is shy, quiet, clumsy and she is also the oldest. Her sister May was the opposite of her. She is really loud and also fast, that's why she never misses a catch.
When Ida and May climbed the tree May would need to help get down Ida, to Ida this was back to front. Ida is older than May but May was always better than Ida at everything, it was not fair on that day.
The two girls fell out of this world and went into another of Idas envy was worse than ever before, that morning the principal has made an announcement at assembly, a year 5 student was going to that regional athletic competition, the principal had called out Mays name.
As her smiling sister bounded to the front something, cold twisty in Ida’s stomach, it felt like a snake made from ice. Later on the walk home May was so excited to notice Ida’s dark mood she tossed and catched her favourite red ball while chattering happily.
All the while about the new sneakers and training schedules then finally Ida could take no more, surprising both of them she snacthed the ball out of mid-air and flung it into the playground they were passing.
Hey why did you do that, beacuse Ida retro I am sick of that ball and I am also sick of you, you're not great as you say you are tears sprang out of mays eyes, you're mean. She said it quietly and then she turned and went to go and get the ball.
Jump May said the fairy then Ida screamed. Ida leapt off her swing and then fell really hard onto the ground and winding herself. As Ida struggled to breath she could see May’s ball, lying under the slide.
Holding the ball, she was running to the roundabout which was slowing down. Leaning hard onto the crossbar, Ida made the roundabout turn the other way faster and faster Ida leapt onto it. When the roundabout was spinning, as fast as Ida could make it go.
Fairy folk so wild and free give my sister back my sister back, Ida shouted. When her head started to stop spinning Ida found herself in a forest. Nearby Ida could hear laughing and also singing, then Ida felt afraid but she had to go and find her sister. So then Ida was following the sounds.
May didn’t have to go that far, said Ida. The green-eyed girl was also dancing in the circle with other children. No, not children, Ida thought, Farries. In the middle stood May, then May shouted.
Still enchanted by the fairy’s spell. Then the green eyed girl stepped in the circle, you got your wish she was sneering, then begone to say please begged Ida, I made a mistake. The fairy smiled a threaches smile.
Silly girl, let’s see if you could get it right this time, said the green eyed girl. Then Ida raised her hand and made a hand sign. Suddenly inside the circle there were three Mays. If you can pick your real sister, the green eyed fairy, she could go with you.
Ida’s heart was beating really fast. Ida made herself think that she would not step into the circle if she did she would have stayed and danced with them forever.
Were the sister’s always good to each other, did they have no reason to be envy of each other. Ida would remember the time now almost a dream when briefly she’d have three and she and may would look at each other and the
